Are a "sayer" but not a "doer?" Are you a stater or a completer? Do you frequently claim you will do this or that but never follow through? If you aren't guilty, do you know someone who IS like this? Saying we will do something and not following through happens to all of us. Sometimes the resources we thought we had are no longer available, whether they are time, money, energy, or skills. However, a person who routinely says that he or she will do things and rarely follows through is seen as unreliable, lazy, unmotivated, or worse, a liar. These traits are not good character traits and are not helpful in relationships! Before we commit to saying we will do something, we should carefully consider if we should before we thing we could and definitely before we say we will! We can't do it all and shouldn't even try. Also, we need to carefully set goals; setting too many will cause too much strain on our resources.
