Edited to add great news! Received first power bill with the new #Rheem Heat Pump. The reading started on the exact day the new one was installed. Bill comparison for the same time frame:
2017 bill = $238.17 old heat pump
2018 bill = $168.55 new heat pump 😎

In July, my twenty-three year-old Carrier Heat Pump died. Heat pumps both cool and heat the interior of a house. While I can't complain as I certainly "got my money's worth" from the Carrier Heat Pump, I needed a replacement one before leaving to be gone from home for the better part of two weeks. I asked on Facebook for recommendations when my regular HVAC person was scheduled so much that he couldn't help for several days. One company kept being mentioned. I alsoused HomeAdvisor for the first time, andn promptly received calls from both Sears and the highly recommended company. The owner of the local company came to the house within minutes, gave me a quote, and sent an installation person the next morning at 8:00 a.m. By noonish, the air was cooling. Until then, I used open windows, floor fans, and bags of ice to cool the house. I am very thankful for the new Rheem Heat Pump!
