November 10th through December 15th, East Tennessee PBS will be gathering knitters and book lovers to join in the gift of giving!
Readers! Spread holiday happiness by dropping new and used age-appropriate books for Norwood Elementary School, Kindergarten through 5th grade, at Union Avenue Books, located at 517 Union Avenue, in the Daylight Building, downtown Knoxville. Knitters! It's our first ever Knit-a thon! Participants in the Holiday Seuss-a-palooza Knit-a-thon will add cheer to our book drive and raise money through their sponsors with every scarf knitted for local public television, East Tennessee PBS. Join us! We're knitting Cat in the Hat red and white scarves with Knit Kits, including enough yarn and standard knitting needles, from Loopville! Register with $10 before and $12 after October 30th.

Seuss-a-palooza officially starts November 10th! We'll be in the lounge of the YWCA Downtown (420 Clinch Avenue W., Knoxville TN 37902) from 4-6pm with Knit Kits and Book Bins. Knit Kits will also available at Loopville, and Book Bins will also be installed at Union Avenue Books beginning on November 12th.
