After the rains from Tropical Storm/Hurricane Irma, many ant hills popped up in the yard. A few friends told me that I could take a shovelful from one ant mound and drop it onto a different ant mound; then the ants would destroy one another. While they DID scurry, I am not sure they fought. The ant mounds were still there, despite my damage. Any suggestions for getting rid of these ant mounds are truly appreciated!
